Last Friday we had the first of six experts’ workshops for our project “Smart City – Scan Amsterdam”. With Gemeente Amsterdam and the GIS Lab of University of Amsterdam / Universiteit van Amsterdam, funded by Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie, we are investigating the use of data technology to inform urban design for more sustainable, resilient, healthy and inclusive cities.
The first workshop was on the theme of Vital Economies, and five more themes will be explored in the coming weeks. The results will be collected in a report and publicly presented in November.
